Create your company workspace, add a role, and bring your team in.
Go to app.metaday.ai/auth/sign-up/company and sign up with your work email, Google, or Microsoft. You’ll land in your dashboard, where you can create your first role and start discovery right away. Trying MetaDay is free — no card required to run your first candidate discoveries.
From the dashboard, tap New role and paste in a job description or answer a few quick prompts — title, must-haves, location, and comp range. MetaDay structures it into a search brief and starts sourcing ranked candidates. The more specific the brief, the sharper the shortlist.
Yes. Open Settings → Team and invite hiring managers and recruiters by email. Each plan comes with a set number of seats — Execute includes 2, Scale includes 5 — and you can add more anytime. Everyone shares the same roles and candidate pipeline, scoped to your company.
Scout is free and pay-as-you-go — AI sources and ranks candidates, you review and reach out by hand. Execute runs the full flow on autopilot for teams hiring a few roles a month — sourcing, outreach, screening, interviews and negotiation. Scale is the same at full volume with more seats and priority. See the full breakdown on the pricing page.
Not for discovery — sourcing and ranking run in the dashboard on their own. You’ll want the extension the moment you’re ready to reach out: it’s what lets MetaDay send personalized outreach and handle replies from your own LinkedIn and inbox, instead of a generic no-reply address. See section 02 below.
The extension is how MetaDay works inside your own browser. Here’s how to add it, pin it, and sign in.
It’s a browser companion to your dashboard. Where the dashboard plans the work — who to contact, what to say — the extension does it inside your own Chrome: opening LinkedIn and your inbox in your real, logged-in session and acting there on your behalf, one step at a time, with you able to review before anything goes out.
Because it’s safer for your accounts. Outreach that comes from your LinkedIn and your inbox — in your own browser, at human pace — looks like you, because it is you. There are no shared bot servers touching your LinkedIn, no password handoff, and nothing happening on an account you don’t control. You stay the sender; MetaDay does the heavy lifting.
Google Chrome is the primary, best-supported browser. It also runs on Chromium-based browsers — Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc — since they share the same extension engine. Safari and Firefox aren’t supported. Use it on a desktop or laptop; there’s no mobile-browser version.
Open your dashboard and go to Settings → Extension (or click Connect LinkedIn from any outreach step). Follow the Add to Chrome link there and confirm Add extension in the pop-up. Installation takes a few seconds and needs no restart. If you’d like the direct link sent to you, email info@metaday.ai and we’ll get you set up.
Chrome hides new extensions behind the puzzle-piece icon in the top-right toolbar. Click it, find MetaDay, and click the pin so its icon stays visible. On Edge it’s the same puzzle-piece menu. Once pinned, the MetaDay icon is your one-click way in and out of the extension.
Click the pinned MetaDay icon and sign in with the same account you use for the dashboard. Once signed in, the extension is linked to your workspace and its roles — no separate password to manage. If it ever shows you as signed out, click the icon and sign in again to refresh the link.
It asks for access to the sites it actually works on — LinkedIn and your connected inbox/ATS tabs — so it can act there on your behalf. It doesn’t watch your general browsing, and it doesn’t collect passwords. Chrome shows you the exact list at install time; you can review it anytime under chrome://extensions → MetaDay → Details.
Chrome updates extensions automatically in the background, so you’re usually on the latest version without doing anything. To force a check, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top-right), and click Update. If a hiring step ever behaves oddly, updating and reloading the tab is the fastest first fix.
Right-click the MetaDay icon and choose Remove from Chrome, or go to chrome://extensions and toggle it off to pause it without uninstalling. Removing the extension only stops browser-based actions like LinkedIn outreach — your dashboard, roles, and candidate data stay exactly as they are.
The extension is what makes MetaDay feel like your team, not a mass mailer. Personalized outreach and replies go out from your LinkedIn and inbox, in your own Chrome, at human pace — and you can keep approval on every send. Nothing happens on an account you don’t control, and nothing happens behind your back.
How outreach runs from your account — and how we keep it inside safe limits.
Make sure you’re logged in to LinkedIn in the same Chrome profile, then click the MetaDay extension and choose Connect LinkedIn. That’s it — there’s no password to hand over. The extension works through your existing, logged-in session, so MetaDay never sees or stores your LinkedIn credentials.
Yes — safety is the whole reason it’s built this way. Actions run from your own browser at a natural, human pace, spread out rather than blasted, and kept within sensible daily limits. You can keep a human-in-the-loop approval on messages so nothing sends without a look. There’s no third-party server logging into your account, which is exactly the pattern LinkedIn treats as risky.
No. It works scoped to the task in front of it — the candidates in your role and your outreach conversations — not your wider network or unrelated chats. To spot replies it reads your message list, the way you’d glance at your inbox, and it surfaces the relevant ones back to you. You stay in control of what happens next.
For each candidate, MetaDay drafts a personalized message from the role and their profile. The extension sends it from your LinkedIn (or inbox), then schedules polite follow-ups for anyone who hasn’t replied — automatically stopping the sequence the moment someone responds. You can review and edit drafts, or let approved sequences run.
When a candidate replies, MetaDay picks it up, reads the intent, and brings it back into your pipeline — interested, not now, or a question to answer. Interested candidates move forward into screening; the rest are filed cleanly so you always have a true picture of the conversation. You can jump into any thread yourself at any point.
Yes. Every job has an approval mode. Keep it on manual and you approve each message and step; switch a role to autopilot once you trust the drafts and let it run. You can change the setting per role at any time, and pause a run instantly from either the dashboard or the extension.
What actually happens across a hiring run — and where you stay in control.
A hiring run is one role taken from open to decision. MetaDay sources and ranks candidates, runs personalized outreach and follow-ups, holds AI screening calls and interviews, negotiates with your top candidates, and hands you a ranked shortlist — while you make the final hiring call. It’s the full recruiter workflow, run for you.
Screening calls are short first-round conversations the AI runs with interested candidates to confirm the basics — availability, must-haves, motivation. AI interviews go deeper, asking structured, role-specific questions and scoring the answers against your brief. Both produce a written, comparable evaluation so you read a five-minute summary instead of sitting through every first call.
The Negotiator is a separate, guided conversation MetaDay has with your strongest candidates to test and align on the things that make or break an offer — comp expectations, notice period, start date, and interest level. It surfaces the real picture before you invest in final interviews, so there are fewer surprises at the offer stage.
A ranked shortlist — typically a handful of candidates — each with a structured evaluation: strengths, concerns, screening and interview results, and where they landed on the things that matter. You spend your time on the top of the pool and the live final interview, not on sifting the bottom of it.
No — it runs on top of the ATS you already use. Your ATS stays the system of record; MetaDay does the sourcing-to-shortlist work in front of it and passes qualified, evaluated candidates into your existing pipeline. Keep the infrastructure you’ve invested in; let MetaDay fill the top of it.
How MetaDay fits your stack, and how plans and credits work.
Yes — that’s the point of the extension. Outreach and replies run through your own LinkedIn and inbox, and candidates flow into your ATS/CRM. It’s your accounts and your data throughout; MetaDay operates inside them rather than pulling everything into a separate silo.
MetaDay connects with the major ATS platforms — Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and others — and with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for email. If your stack isn’t listed, tell us at info@metaday.ai; we add integrations regularly and can advise on the best setup for your workflow.
Yes. On paid plans an AI note-taker can join your live interviews to transcribe and summarize them, so the whole team reads a consistent write-up afterward instead of scribbling notes. It captures the conversation for your records — it doesn’t run the interview for you.
Scout is free to start. Execute and Scale are subscriptions, billed monthly or annually (annual saves 20%), and Execute comes with a 30-day trial you can cancel anytime. Manage everything under Settings → Billing — upgrade, downgrade, switch billing period, or update your card. Full pricing is on the pricing page.
Credits meter the AI-powered actions in a run — sourcing, enrichment, calls, interviews. Paid plans include a monthly allowance that covers normal hiring volume; Scout is pure pay-as-you-go. You can see usage under Settings → Billing, and top up whenever you need more.
Yes — our VIP, white-glove tier pairs the full platform with a dedicated success manager who configures and runs hiring alongside your team. It’s hand-picked and limited. If that’s what you need, book a call and we’ll walk through it.
What we store, how it’s protected, and the compliance you can rely on.
On enterprise-grade infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Workflows are GDPR-aligned and CCPA-aware, and access is scoped to your company. The full breakdown lives on the privacy & security page.
You do. Candidates sourced and contacted for your roles belong to your workspace, visible to your team and no one else. Results are scoped per company — another MetaDay customer never sees your pipeline, and you never see theirs.
No. Never. We don’t sell company or candidate data, and we don’t share your pipeline outside your workspace. MetaDay makes money from subscriptions, not from your data.
Yes. Export role and candidate data from the dashboard, or ask us at info@metaday.ai for a full account export. Deletion requests are honored and purged from active systems and backups within 30 days. For a candidate exercising their own rights, we help you handle it correctly.
Company support — dashboard and Chrome extension — is run by the same team that builds MetaDay. No tickets vanishing into a void, no canned replies. Tell us what’s happening, ideally with your browser and a short description, and we’ll come back fast.
