A note from our founder

Why MetaDay Had to Be Built

Before we built MetaDay, the team behind it spent years building and scaling fast-growing companies.

Hiring wasn’t just another business function.

It was how we built companies.

Over the years, we hired thousands of people, interviewed tens of thousands of candidates, worked alongside hundreds of hiring managers, and built teams across industries, countries and cultures.

Eventually, one realization kept coming back.

Hiring isn’t about finding talented people.

There are talented people everywhere.

There are great companies everywhere.

The real challenge is finding the right match — people whose ambitions, values and way of working truly fit a company’s culture.

That’s a human decision.
And we believe it always will be.

The problem is everything that happens before you get there:

  • Finding candidates
  • Personalizing outreach
  • Running screening phone calls
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Keeping candidates engaged
  • Negotiating offers

Necessary work. Important work.

But work that rarely requires human judgment.

Then AI arrived.

Finding candidates became dramatically easier.

Building pipelines that once took weeks could now happen before lunch.

That’s when we realized something.

AI didn’t solve hiring.
It multiplied the problem.

Every Monday looked like a mountain.

Hundreds of new candidates.

Hundreds of screening phone calls.

Hundreds of follow-ups.

The same questions.

The same explanations.

And after all of that…

The hiring manager still wanted to meet only three people.

That’s why MetaDay Had to Be Built.

Since building MetaDay, we’ve validated this through thousands of AI screening calls, AI interviews and AI negotiations.

What surprised us most wasn’t the technology.

It was the candidates.

They didn’t want less communication.

They wanted better communication.

Faster answers.

More transparency.

More time to ask questions.

They wanted to arrive at the final interview informed, prepared and ready to make the conversation count.

That’s when we realized something else.

The final interview should never be about exchanging information.

It should be about people.

About values.

About culture.

About making the right decision.

Technology should help create that moment.
Not replace it.

Not another recruiting platform.

Not another copilot.

A Hiring Execution System that executes everything between opening a role and the final interview.

So hiring managers can spend their time where it creates the most value.

Building teams.

Building culture.

Making the final hiring decision.

Technology should execute.

People should build culture.
