Getting in, staying in, and recovering access if something breaks.
Download the MetaDay app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android), open it, and tap Sign up. You can register with your email, Google, or Apple ID. After verifying your email, the app will guide you through importing your CV — that builds the foundation of your profile in under two minutes.
Check your spam or promotions folder first — the verification mail sometimes lands there. If it’s not arriving after 5 minutes, tap Resend on the sign-up screen. Still nothing? Email info@metaday.ai with the address you used and we’ll unlock it manually.
Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen. You’ll get a reset link by email — it’s valid for 30 minutes. If your email address changed since you signed up, write to info@metaday.ai from the new address with proof of identity, and we’ll move your account safely.
Yes. Sign in on any iPhone, iPad, or Android device with your MetaDay credentials and your profile, interviews, and saved roles sync automatically. For security, you’ll be asked to verify the new device the first time.
Open Settings → Privacy → Delete account. We delete your profile, interviews, and personal data within 30 days. You can also request deletion anytime by emailing info@metaday.ai from the address tied to your account.
Your profile isn’t a static document — it’s the signal employers see first.
The system runs on signals — verified skills, real performance, and consistent activity. A higher signal means you appear more often in employer search, you rank higher in shortlists, and you’re evaluated earlier in the process. Verification, completed interviews, and an active profile all push it up.
Upload your CV once — that’s it. Open the app and tap Profile → Edit CV, then upload a PDF (the format that parses cleanest). The AI turns it into a structured profile and gives you direct feedback on it — what’s strong, what’s missing, and what to sharpen before employers see it.
Adding your LinkedIn link is optional but recommended — it boosts your talent signal and helps the system match you to roles faster.
Verification proves you can do what your CV says. Depending on your role, that can include short skill assessments, project reviews, or reference signals. Each verified item shows a badge employers can trust — and your credibility follows you across every opportunity.
By default, only employers actively hiring for roles you match can discover your verified profile. You decide what to share — visibility, contact preferences, even the version of your interview you publish. We never sell your data and never share it without consent.
Your profile is hidden by default. It’s only shared with the company hiring for the specific job you applied to — nobody else. No public profile. No surprise outreach from companies you didn’t apply to.
Every parsed field is editable — tap any item on your profile to correct it. If a whole section came in wrong, tap Re-import and upload a cleaner version of your CV. If it keeps misreading the same field, send the file to info@metaday.ai and we’ll improve the parser for everyone.
What used to be called the AI interview is now AI Spotlight. It does more than ask questions. You can ask it questions back about the role, the company, the team. You answer the generic screening questions on your own time. The result: a sharper match for you, and a sharper signal for the employer. No surprise calls. No wasted rounds.
Train, retry, and only share your strongest version. Common questions, answered.
AI Spotlight is the new name for the MetaDay AI interview. It’s a two-way conversation. You get to learn more about the role by asking questions, and you answer the generic screening questions an employer would normally ask on a first call. The output is a clearer match — for both sides.
Both — and you choose. Run unlimited practice sessions in private with real-time feedback. Retry as many times as you want. When you find the take you’re proud of, share only that version with the employer.
Yes — that’s a core part of Spotlight. Ask about responsibilities, team structure, day-to-day work, growth path, anything the job description doesn’t cover. The AI answers from the employer’s brief so you walk in informed, not guessing.
It’s a strong signal. In most cases, an invitation to AI Spotlight means you’ve made the shortlist for the role. The employer wants to learn more about you specifically — and is giving you a private, asynchronous space to show your fit before a live conversation.
Most candidates finish in 10–20 minutes. You set the pace. Pause and resume any time — the session waits for you.
Usually yes — but not always. Retakes depend on the employer’s settings for that role. Some employers allow unlimited retakes, others cap them, and a few prefer a single take. The app shows you the rule before you start, so you’ll always know what you’re working with.
In practice mode (outside of a real role), retakes are always unlimited.
The first time you open Spotlight, the app asks for camera and microphone permission. If you skipped it:
Restart the app and try again. Still stuck? Email info@metaday.ai with your device model and OS version.
How matching works, and how to apply without losing momentum.
You have a personal AI agent that scans relevant roles for you in the background. It uses your verified profile — skills, experience, location, salary range, and the type of work you want — and matches against the openings most likely to fit. The cleaner and more complete your signal, the more accurate the match.
Tap Apply on the role. Your verified profile and (if recorded) your AI Spotlight are submitted in one tap.
You upload your CV once. The AI gives you feedback on it before employers ever see it, and from then on every application uses the same polished profile — no re-entering details, no per-company CV uploads.
You’ll see your application in the Applications tab with a live status: Reviewed, Shortlisted, Interview, Offer, or Closed. The employer can message you in-app — you’ll get a notification the moment they do.
Two usual causes. First — your profile might not be fully verified yet, which limits the roles surfaced to you. Second — your filters might be too tight. Check verification under Profile, then loosen location or salary filters on the Job Board. New roles also enter the system continuously, so coming back daily helps.
Yes. Open the application and tap Withdraw. The employer sees the application closed by you. No awkwardness, no follow-up calls.
Updates, notifications, storage, and the small fixes that solve 90% of issues.
Three steps in order:
Still happening? Email info@metaday.ai with your device model, OS version, and a short description of what you were doing when it crashed.
Inside the app, check Settings → Notifications for which alerts are turned on. If everything looks right and they still don’t arrive, sign out and back in to refresh the device token.
The app itself is small. Most space comes from cached interview videos and assets. The app keeps up to 50 interviews cached locally for fast playback — older ones rotate out automatically. Clear cache anytime via Settings → Storage → Clear cache. Your profile, applications, and uploaded interviews stay safely on the cloud either way.
Yes. Same profile, same AI agent, same AI Spotlight, same Job Board on both platforms. Sign in on either — your data follows you. A handful of OS-specific behaviors (notification settings, sign-in via Apple/Google) follow each platform’s conventions, but the product itself is identical.
Some Android brands (Xiaomi, OPPO, Samsung, Huawei) aggressively close apps to save battery — which can interrupt AI Spotlight or kill notifications. Open Settings → Apps → MetaDay → Battery and set it to Unrestricted (or Don’t optimize). On Xiaomi/Redmi, also enable Autostart for MetaDay.
Yes. Spotlight saves answers as you go. Reopen the app on a stable connection and you’ll see Resume Spotlight on the role. If anything looks missing, write to info@metaday.ai with the role name and we’ll recover the session for you.

Yes. Tap Settings → Privacy → Export my data. We send a complete archive to your registered email within 24 hours.
Open the item and tap the delete icon. Deleted interviews are removed from active records immediately and purged from backups inside 30 days. Need it deleted from a specific employer’s view sooner? Email info@metaday.ai.
