Care group hiring: the AI recruiter that fills care roles across every site

MetaDay is the AI recruiter for UK care groups and home care providers. You brief it once for each role and site. It finds and ranks candidates, messages them by email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, calls the interested ones, books interviews into your team's calendars and brings your manager the top three. Your team makes the final decision.

The hiring problem every care group knows

Start with the official picture. Skills for Care reports that the adult social care vacancy rate in England fell to 6.2% in 2025/26, the lowest since 2015/16, with around 96,000 vacancies on any given day. Lower is still not low. For a group running ten homes, each empty post means extra shifts for your team and a manager pulled off the floor to read applications.

Filling a care role is always the same work: find people nearby, message them, chase silence, call the interested ones, book interviews around each manager's rota. MetaDay runs that work for you.

How a care hiring run works

  1. Brief Ryan once. On Slack or in the app, tell Ryan, the AI, the role, site, pay and shift pattern (days, waking nights, alternate weekends), plus your must-haves: a driving licence for domiciliary roles, an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply, right to work in the UK. Ryan builds the run inside your boundaries. You approve it, and it goes live.
  2. Scout reads the market. It ranks up to 1,000 candidates per open role, with the written reasoning for every match.
  3. The job post is ready, you press Post. Another agent prepares the post for the job boards that fit and stops before anything is paid.
  4. Outreach that keeps going. Messages go out by email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn, with follow-ups. The AI handles every reply, so a carer who answers after a late shift gets an answer too.
  5. A call at a time the candidate chooses. The AI phones interested candidates. If it is not a good time, it asks when to call back. Calls run in the candidate's language, from English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish.
  6. Interviews in your team's calendars. Meetings go straight into the calendars of the team members you choose for the role.
  7. Evidence, then your decision. Structured AI interviews record the evidence, the AI negotiates the offer inside your limits, and the top three finalists go to your hiring manager. We run the hire. You decide.

What stays with your organisation

MetaDay does not replace your safer recruitment checks:

The run asks about these early, so nobody reaches interview with a surprise. The checks and the final decision stay with you.

Pricing for care groups

The AI Recruiter costs $299 per open role per month billed yearly, $399 billed quarterly, or $499 billed monthly. One open role is one job title at one location, no matter how many people you hire. A care assistant in Bristol is one open role whether you hire one or ten. A care assistant in Bristol and a care assistant in Bath are two.

Each open role includes 30 AI phone calls and 10 AI interviews a month, 2 admin seats and unlimited view seats. No success fee. More than five open roles: Enterprise, talk to us. Full detail is on the AI recruiter pricing page, and book a demo to start a free trial.

Proof

Our clearest public example is not from care: World Mobile went from open role to signed hire in one working day. Care roles have their own checks, but finding, messaging, calling and booking is the same work.

Common questions

Does MetaDay run DBS checks?

No. Your organisation still runs the DBS check. Standard and enhanced checks are requested by the employer through a registered body, as GOV.UK sets out. Add DBS as a requirement in your brief.

Can it check a nurse's NMC registration?

Your team checks the NMC register itself, using the nurse's PIN where possible. Add the PIN to your brief and the run asks for it early. The decision stays with you.

Can it handle high-volume care hiring across many sites?

Yes. Each job title at each location runs as its own open role, and Scout ranks up to 1,000 candidates for each one. Interviews go into the calendar of the manager at that site. For more than five open roles, talk to us about Enterprise.

What about night and weekend shifts?

Put the shift pattern in the brief, for example waking nights or alternate weekends. Candidates hear it up front and are asked about availability, so the people who reach your manager can work the rota. The AI handles every reply.

How much does it cost?

$299 per open role per month billed yearly, $399 billed quarterly or $499 billed monthly, with no success fee. A care assistant in Bristol is one open role whether you hire one or ten. Bristol and Bath are two.

What do candidates experience?

The AI introduces itself as the AI representative of your organisation and never claims to be human. Before anything is kept, it asks if it may keep a written transcript for the hiring team. No audio is recorded, and if the candidate says no, no transcript is kept. It sends the privacy notice by email or WhatsApp. Read what happens on an AI recruiter phone call.
